In March of 2024, I took a trip with my dog to Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône. During our visit, we stayed in this apartment which was an ok choice.

DOG FRIENDLINESS
My dog was welcome here and there was no surcharge applied.
THE LOCATION
The apartment was in a good location to go to the beautiful Plage Napoleon, a 10km long, gorgeous, dog-friendly beach.
While the beach is absolutely worth visiting with your dog, this meant that the apartment was quite far outside the village. Even in the village, we did have some issues finding open restaurants during our stay in March.

This place might be better to visit during the summer months and next time I would rather choose to stay in the village itself and accept a longer drive to the beach.
THE APARTMENT
The apartment was very large, with a spacious kitchen and dining area downstairs as well as two large bedrooms upstairs. It also featured a terrace, which unfortunately we could not use much since it was mostly rainy and windy during our stay.

I can imagine this being a good place to stay with a larger group for a mostly self-catered stay during summer. Unfortunately due to the weather we did not enjoy it quite as much. There were also some renovations going on in the property next door, so there was some noise, but I’m sure this is not the norm.
THE SERVICE
There was no service at the apartment. The key exchange was without any contact so I really cannot speak to this.
THE VALUE
We ended up paying around 400 EUR for four nights, although we ended up leaving early due to the weather. If you are staying with a larger group, the price is probably fair. For our trip, I found it quite expensive for what it was, given that we were most certainly traveling during the low season.
THE BOTTOM LINE
In summer, I can imagine this being a decent option for a stay near Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône if you are mostly looking for a beach getaway. The apartment is overall well equipped, but for our situation and the time of year I simply did not feel that it was good value. I can’t give this one more than a 3 out of 5.
