In 2022, I did a short overnight stop in Bretzfeld near Heilbronn on a roadtrip with my dog. During our visit, we stayed in this hotel which was a nice choice overall.

DOG FRIENDLINESS
My dog was very welcome here and there was no surcharge applied.
THE LOCATION
The hotel was in a nice location just off the A6 motorway and yet right near some gorgeous vineyards and fruit orchards. My dog definitely enjoyed our walk in this beautiful setting and so did I.
There was also a parking lot right in front of the hotel. Super convenient for an overnight stay with my dog.
THE ROOM
The room was really comfortable overall. There was a large and very comfortable bed, a desk with a chair and even a couch. The room also had a terrace, although we could not really take advantage of it during our visit in December. I’m sure it will be a great feature during warmer weather though.
THE SERVICE
The service at this hotel was very nice.
When we arrived, a small complimentary bottle of wine was already waiting for us in the room. It dawned on me that I definitely should have booked a wine tasting here, but oh well. There is always next time!
The breakfast was a little basic but overall nice as well and I was able to bring it to the room without any problem.
THE VALUE
We ended up paying 75 EUR for one night, which I thought was a decent price. The room was large and extremely comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly which really stood out.
THE BOTTOM LINE
This was a really nice place to stay with my dog in Bretzfeld. The location of the hotel is perfect if you are looking for an overnight stop while traveling on the A6 in Germany and the staff was so kind. We would definitely stay here again and try the wine as well. Overall, a good 4 out of 5.
